I am a mathematician turned software engineer, and I would have loved for someone to teach me about it much earlier.

It is common to see "please dont turn off" in pcs running simulations, because math/physics ppl dont think they can do backups mid simulation and have the ability to resume later.

Also imo mathematicians are used to far worse user interface. Like wdym I need to open the script and change lines 2, 3, 14, 42 and 45 to change the algorithm? Give me a config or command line to change this 😭
