Yeah and over time it's become one of the most beloved fighting games & games ever made with some of the most popular characters in the series. I'd rather have a redemption of a "bad" character & develop what the series has instead of guest characters that almost certainly won't return

In all fairness yeah it's an outlier, but I would absolutely prefer taking another stab at an existing SF character or make a new SF character vs a guest character, 100 times out of 100
It really does suck that American game studios have just spent the past 5 years burning away their time on projects that shutter the studio. Like I want new stuff but we should also be getting series that I can time a 3 year cycle to.
I've been bouncing between playing XCOM 2: War of the Chosen & replaying DOOM Eternal the past few weeks and it's felt amazing. Just top-notch games from developers of the time and they had a turnaround of like 3-4 years!
Sorry to be overly sincere for a second, but here's why we decided to persevere through all of the bullshit and take over InfoWars.

Honestly I really only think it has its reputation from people coming in from Pokemon using the assumption that buffing is useless. You lay out de/buffs and build your team smartly and you'll be fine
Already listened to it three times through, incredible album. Loved Jessie's previous two albums but those both had one or two skips but I genuinely can't see myself skipping ANY song on here

And there aren't quite spaces like that in America. Even "small" bars cordon you off to tables & distinctly divide everyone. You aren't really mingling and it feels hard to break into that space
I think part of what made my time in Japan hit so hard was that people were open to talking to strangers, in the right places at least. Going to a bar that fits 8 people in Golden Gai and actually getting to make some contact with strangers or chat up the bartender felt so great

Look I gave Midnight Suns a try and aside from the absolutely grating writing, I'm just not sure I like that card system. I do absolutely respect what it's trying to do - give you randomness that isn't just pass/fail on a check, but also nailing the 20% hit & failing the 90% chance is the good part

I've been so much happier on the internet in the past few months just reducing my scope and tuning into/following level-headed experts. It's possible to move your internet in a healthier, more sustainable direction!
That on top of the whole internet being filled with people that haven't actually put in the hours to actually experience something & just go off of like, tiktoks/shorts/reels.
If there's been one thing I've learned about internet culture over the past decade is that "fandom" is genuinely one of the most toxic things out there. I'm not sure it's possible for a group of people who make their personality One Thing to stay healthy & well-adjusted
