I have signed @fivanmierlo letter which urges the PM to back his amendment which would close loopholes in the Water Industry Act. Stronger accountability and better protection for our waterways is essential.
We must hold polluters to account and deliver a fair deal for everyone.

I am shocked to hear the news coming out of Lechlade last night. Thankfully, it seems that the injury is not expected to be life threatening and the perpetrator is in custody.
I will continue to monitor the situation closely and hope for the quickest resolution possible.
Thank you to everyone that came out in support of our petition for the future of Cirencester Hospital this Saturday.
With a future action day already planned, letโs push on and show how important local healthcare is to our community. Sign here: rozsavage.uk/cirencesterhosโฆ
In light of this recent news, we must remember that the Nolan Principles - selflessness, integrity, openness, honesty - exist for a reason. They are not optional extras.
These revelations are deeply troubling. Public trust in our institutions is fragile. Protecting it matters.
This is precisely why the Good Food Bill, which we are calling for in the Kingโs Speech, is so important for the country moving forward.
Food security is national security and without this bill, Britain will always be at risk.

With recent news that the Government is once again refusing to rethink housing targets across the Cotswolds, it is vital to communities, across the South Cotswolds and the wider country, that housing developments come with adequate infrastructure.
Everyone, everywhere deserves access to a local GP.
The Prime Ministers call for a closer relationship with Europe has been a long time coming.
In light of recent events, it is more clear than ever that we must strengthen the bonds with our neighbours - economically & politically - for a stronger Cotswolds and a stronger Country.
Our party is rightfully pressuring the Government to take on the Good Food Bill - helping back British farmers and British food.
I know from first hand experience speaking with farmers across my constituency just how important this Bill is for the future of our food security and resilience.
Real families need more than just words. The government needs to intervene with an emergency 10p cut on fuel duty, 10% off rail fares and a ยฃ1 cap on bus tickets for the next 3 months - funded by the energy profits levy.
The role of NATO is and has always been a defensive alliance. The aggressive language once again used by the White House as a threat against our European allies is equal parts unsurprising and shameful. We can not be threatened into offensive actions in this war.
I have written a letter to the Defence Secretary urging for the immediate refusal of all strikes on Iranian civilian infrastructure. Trumps rhetoric on such a critical issue is abhorrent and I urge the government to ensure RAF Fairford is not used to break international law.
It is absolutely vital that RAF Fairford is NOT used to aide strikes of Iranian civilian infrastructure. Any such strikes would fundamentally be a war crime. inews.co.uk/news/politic...
A time of hope, renewal and community - Happy Easter Sunday. ๐
Wishing a peaceful and reflective Good Friday to all those who celebrate.
Last week, I had the pleasure of attending Anthropy at the Eden Project.
I sat on panels discussing natural infrastructure, modern leadership roles and the realities of national issues on local politics, among other vital discussions focussed on inspiring positive change in the UK.
This week I visited RAF Fairford to see for myself what is happening on the ground.
There is understandable concern around RAF Fairford being used for US defensive operations. The safety of residents in Fairford, Kempsford, Lechlade, and the surrounding areas is a priority to me, and I will keep doing all I can to represent you on this issue in Parliament.
February has been a full month for my team and me - supporting residents with NHS appointments, prescriptions, passport delays, housing and cost-of-living concerns. Behind every case is a real person, and itโs a privilege to listen and act. Stay updated: www.rozsavage.uk/weekly-newsletter
This decision will please millions of voters across the UK, but it is worrying to see yet another u-turn from the government...

Very disappointed by todayโs Government decision on the WASPI campaign. Many women in the South Cotswolds and across the UK were left worse off by pension changes with little notice. Iโve led debates, met campaigners, and I wonโt stop pressing for fair compensation.

In Parliament, I welcomed the new Carbon Budget and Growth Plan - a step forward, but ambition in words must be matched by ambition in action.
We need a fair, local, and nature-rich transition that works from the ground up. ๐

My message to the millions of One Nation conservatives who reject the divisive politics of Badenoch and Farage is this:
Come and join us. Help us save our country. Come and win with us.
Iโve joined cross-party colleagues in calling on the Prime Minister to scrap the two-child limit in the November Budget. Ending this policy would lift hundreds of thousands of children out of poverty and give every child a fair start in life.

๐ Great news! Every state primary school in England will have a library by the end of this Parliament.

The past fortnight has been full of conversations across the South Cotswolds ๐ Iโve also been helping with casework on pensions, housing, Universal Credit, student support and more. Always a privilege to support where I can.
