The premise of the AU,Its a mix of the world of Murder drones and the tone/concepts of frostpunk,some major tweaking has been done to both to make them fit cohesively,its roleplay based in a discord server,where ocs can carry out the day to day lives of existing in such a cruel and merciless world,standing together defiant against nature itself.

FROSTBYTE AUS WHAT REMAINS - THE STORY The city of EffinCold was one of the first permanent settlements created by the drones,settled only 2 years after the beginning of the ice age, 26 years later,it stands as one of the largest settlements for drones in the surrounding areas, it is marked by a giant tower, a coal consuming beast known as "the generator" it provided warmth and a way for drones to Charge,a revolutionary element for drones,soon houses were built around it, facilities,workshops, a society of its own began forming,properly. In the last year,mechanics of EffinCold have tried to get a dreadnaught to work, a marvel of human locomotion technology that would greatly assist the drones IF it could be made functional again;and it was! Now, the city of effincold pulled a labour raffle,and a lot of drones were selected to board this dreadnought on an adventure to a distant location, a brief excursion that will only last 3 months if all goes well.

FROSTBYTE AU What happened? The branching point for this au is that the Absolute Solver never existed. Murder Drones never were created by it and humanity did not go extinct... Except humanity DID still go extinct,at the hand of something else. NATURE. The drones were left forgotten in their colonies,supplies dwindled over months. When they couldnt sustain their colonies any longer,they fled,a mass exodus began Some colonies were lucky,and found building plans for structures Humans planned to make but never finished, united, the drones established small save havens. that over decades to come,sprawled into industrial, victorian like cities. Now,new generations of drones are being made ones that never saw life before the ice age, they have different beliefs,2 clear distinctions,battling to dictate the future,however meaningless it may be in the end.

It was not a voluntary duty,many drones were taken away from their family in labour raffles,the strong and tech minded alike,to carry on a task of ambition and unparalleled difficulty,coming back home to EffinCold to the embrace of family and friends is all that drives them ✊
