Not to be seen on the BBC TV News, doesn’t suit their agenda .

Also not to be seen in the Telegraph, Express, Mail, Sun, etc.

And nowadays not in the Guardian either.

It’s not Everton with a psychological issue with the derby. It’s the referees…

Scared of the non-Liverpool based cult.

Zack Polanski says the Greens only block “luxury flats”.

So why are Labour-run boroughs in Southwark, Haringey, Enfield, Hounslow and Newham building more council homes than entire Green-run cities like Bristol?

The Green Party is more comfortable on a protest than in power.

Starmer: "She claimed Mandelson could not have been cleared. She was wrong. She said Ministers must have been told. She was wrong. She rushed to judgement as always"

Yes I did - coz the £3 billion heat pimp fund is a waste of public money, worse it’s morally questionable when 5 million people can't afford to pay their energy bills - to give £8k subsidies to people who can. If the MOD need cash I say give them the heat pump fund.

Initial scans have shown that Jarrad Branthwaite's injury is not as bad as first feared but that he could still face two months on the sidelines, with the hope now being he will be available at the start of the club’s pre-season.

In 1948/49, Israel destroyed over 400 Palestinian villages, driving populations that had lived there for millennia into exile and refugee hood. An act of ethnic cleansing that is being repeated today. Gaza, the West Bank and now Lebanon. This is obscene and cruel and wicked. End of.

iXBRL code showing the tag TaxIncreaseDecreaseFromEffectDividendsFromCompanies was applied to the negative 11,572 figure

iXBRL code showing the tag TaxIncreaseDecreaseFromEffectDividendsFromCompanies was applied to the negative 11,572 figure

Maybe someone was being sloppy and typed "dividend income" when they really meant "dividend income is sheltered by losses".

Nope. The code the accountants' software submitted to Companies House contains a specific dividend exemption tag

More in this in our report.

Tax reconciliation showing £11,572 of tax being cancelled by £11,572 of dividend exemption.

Tax reconciliation showing £11,572 of tax being cancelled by £11,572 of dividend exemption.

Second, the accounts don't show what Tice claimed.

This (T3, 2021) shows £60,906 of dividend income and says expected tax = £11,572, but cancelled by dividend exemption.

Not losses.

And **There is no dividend exemption for REIT distributions**

The front page of Tisun Three's accounts. It says they're "unaudited".

First, the easy one: the accounts weren't audited. It says so on the front page.

1. The companies weren't audited.

2. The accounts show the dividend exemption was claimed - wrongly. They don't show group losses being used.

3. And there were no losses in the group.

Sunday Times headline from March: Reform's Richard Tice avoided nearly £600k in tax

Sunday Times headline from March: Reform's Richard Tice avoided nearly £600k in tax

Despite receiving dividends, the companies paid zero tax in 2019, 2020 and 2021 for reasons that Tice said related to wider losses suffered by the groups. Although no such information appears in their accounts, he said: “The accountants advise on this and sign the audit and they are top drawer so I trust them.”

Richard Tice had a different explanation for why no tax was paid when he spoke to the Sunday Times last month.

Tice's statements here are all incorrect.

It was a really basic tax mistake. Everyone in REIT world knows that REIT corporate shareholders pay tax on their dividends - this isn't some deep tax nerd point.

I'd expect Richard Tice to know it. I'd certainly expect his advisers to know it. It's a google search away.

The Tisun Three 2021 tax reconciliation showing the dividend exemption eliminating tax.

The Tisun Three 2021 tax reconciliation showing the dividend exemption eliminating tax.

Richard Tice applied for his Quidnet company to become a REIT. It then paid no tax.

But the price was that the four "Tisun" companies holding shares in Quidnet REIT had to pay tax on their dividends. They didn't.

(here's the accounts from one of them)

Quidnet Reit structure chart showing its corporate shareholders:

Tisun One Ltd
Tisun Two Ltd

Tisun Four Ltd

Quidnet Reit structure chart showing its corporate shareholders: Tisun One Ltd Tisun Two Ltd Tisun Three Ltd Tisun Four Ltd

Normal companies pay corporation tax. So, when they pay dividends, their corporate shareholders don't pay tax again. The dividends are exempt.

REITs are different. They don't pay corporation tax. So dividends received by Tisun One, Two, Three, Four were not exempt.

What should have happened: the REIT paid no tax but the Tice companies holding shares in the REIT paid £98k tax on the dividends they received.

What actually happened: none of the companies paid any tax.

Oh boy. Found this Green candidate's 2015 Christian Party leaflet, where he condemns "secular culture" and the "death culture" of abortion.

I get that people's views can change but this is quite a turnaround for a mature guy...
