one of my personal hopes is that as we enter a new era of the democratic party that we also treat our staffers with more dignity. the base line should be providing our people with healthcare but then also at the very least democratic staffers should not be punching bags for other democrats.

it is no wonder most staffers i worked with in 2020 have left texas since. what a thankless job, truly. you work on some of the hardest races in the country and people still call you out of touch or blame you for a loss. then the same people wonder why our bench of democratic talent is so small.
