I really like this. I've been talking about the 'genericide of AI' recently where the uniformed majority ends up lumping everything under an inaccurate but sound-bitey term just due to not understanding the wider concepts. Ugh. A big part of what I do for a living is write bids and applications. Use of AI is being policed pretty heavily in those arenas but by 'AI spotter' software, not people. The stuff LLMs have literally been trained on is now going to be flagged as AI and get people's submissions disqualified. Ugh.
