Remembering very clearly when my old GM had such a chokehold on our wod game that she couldn't handle the mage system. Literally asking us not to use our powers or do anything unrealistic for a whole FOUR sessions lmao. It's nice to see players in d20 swallowing missiles game 1.

excellent designwork, this is so inspired!

Imagining some different worlds and what it might take to get to them.

Fell out with someone who would later go on to say that they weren't interested in "rule-bound" worlds or whatever. All worlds are bound by rules. They were not interested in trying to imagine something outside of their narrow understanding. This post is not for them.

Two drawings of Raine (the author/illustrator). On the left, a simplified drawing. On the right a more "realistically rendered" piece. Current trend replicated from the bottom of Page 36 from Scott McCloud's book, Understanding Comics. I reread it before doing this trend, I highly recommend it.

I don't do trends a lot so you know this one is pretty good.
