How does the British museum have so many incredible artifacts compared to other museums? the secret ingredient is crime.
The History Club students decorated their office door and I have to say their meme game is pretty strong. #HistorySky #AcademicSky
I am once again asking you to watch Gundam Wing and tapping the “Did Treize Khushrenada Die For Nothing?!?” sign.

Japanese engineers developed this "Sword Tip Visualisation" tracking technology specifically for this event that will make it so much easier for the average person to see what's going on!
I MUST WATCH THIS ENTIRE TOURNAMENT
A tabby cat looks up as she gets scratched under her chin.
No thoughts, only chin scritches.
LOL reminds me of the old “3D projectors” where you loaded a wheel of slides.
Never took of then in fashion then either.
Explosive & really outrageous revelations in here about a billionaire's private surveillance network completely run amok.
If we can't stop Dolan from spying on us at MSG, let's at least cancel his sweetheart tax break. (1/2)
There are only a few possibilities here:
1. Kid using parent's work machine
2. Kid using parent's BYOD machine with these creds on it
3. Developer searching for Roblox game exploits
Each of these is something Vercel's security team should be digging into...
One of the biggest draws for the original films (pre-Avengers) is you did not need to know anything about any of the characters going in. If you were already a fan? Great. But no requirements to get the backstories.
This is silly. You're just making people give less and less of a shit, guys, and tolerance was already pretty low for a lot of folx. Like, I ostensibly care about this shit, and I don't care about this shit.
Thank god, I was feeling really down before they invented a pasta sauce that spies on us.
If you wouldn’t let an IDE vendor stream your keystrokes and project context to their server, why let this one?
While Bill Watterson may be the philosopher of our age, Gary Larson is its prophet
In July / August I will look back at this moment and groan.
“Woman feeling cold and damp from early spring weather longs for hot summer evenings, despite not being able to stand the humidity at all.”
So when AI has replaced all the junior software coders of the world and the senior ones retire, who will be left to “fix” an AI when it runs amok? I feel like that needs to be addressed before we just let AI program itself.
At a time when mass surveillance and autonomous weapons companies like Palantir are openly announcing their plans for violent world domination, it is crucial that our attempts at “big tech reform” don’t actually give them more power—ie via government mandated age verification/identity software
A lot of our big “we’re gonna hold big tech accountable” bills actually hand them + the government unprecedented power to track, censor, and deplatform internet users—and would require us to link our identities to everything we do online, meaning no more privacy. Greatly reducing opposition to them
Oh yeah. There’s definitely a problem where the technology could be used for a world of good, but that’s not the direction its investors / developers go in. 😑
Can’t afford the flights right now but dang I want to try one of these.
The deeply problematic Part 2 of the lawful access Bill C-22, the new "Supporting Authorized Access to Information Act", which has the potential to create a whole new surveillance infrastructure in Canada. New on my YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lh51... #lawfulaccess
“The liability issue is intimately tied to the question on whether the chatbot encourages acts of violence by concretizing an action plan.”
Machines going faster than humans is nothing new. Heck, just add wheels.
Machines that mimic human legs however, if such technology is then used in bionics and limb replacement, could be extraordinarily.
Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?
…. Tell me they’ve at least added a psychological warning. “Do not use this to interact with Dracula or the Hunchback of Notre Dame” as a starter.
