At least it’s consistent and on brand with the rest of their decisions.

New review on Jul 21, 2025 at 9:37 AM GMT I never thought a game could make me feel this way. The story was truly touching, as if it portrayed a part of my own life. Thank you for delivering such a profound and inspiring experience. a GOAT GAME EVER! I'm sorry if my english is so bad.
Some days are good and make you feel like what you’re doing has meaning.

Much improved! Seems like it works.
Update is out on all platforms, make sure you update to version 9.
Can relate, not sure how to deal with them either.
This is clear enough for Unity's QA to understand the issue, right?

I wrote a new blog post, for those that are interested in reading almost coherent musings that are loosely related to gamedev :P
Latest Lost Echo has a major bug, where many parts of it break, because Unity broke adding animation events at runtime.
Fix will be released soon.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
When we pushed back, they went “oops turns out we were thinking of someone else”. This happened twice, a few years apart.
They did not provide any data at all, they just expressed a vague notion that we were flagged for some reason with nothing to back it up and that we should buy more Pro licenses.
Not in our cases (it happened twice).
I took it as them “cold calling” without any data and hoping they “catch” someone doing something wrong by chance, but I’m famously uncharitable towards Unity.
Plus, I don't actually know if they actually have any data before sending such an e-mail, because both times we pushed back they replied with "oops, turns out it was a mistake, our bad".
No, they imply the data they have (that they won't show you) shows you've been doing something wrong, then they "suggest" you "fix it" by buying a bunch of licenses you don't need "or else"
So they threaten, politely and passive aggressively, but they threaten and have been doing it for many years.
I mean, who hasn't said "Smash that like button" to their doctor?
my AI company is shocked, SHOCKED that all the candidates selected by our AI tool are using AI to do the interview
Sorry to hear that, that sucks.
They haunt us every other year because having most of our income come from outside of our country (Greece) is a red flag for some reason.
Done (I think?)
Anyways you ain't never had autism in the US until at least 2028 probably
Maybe 2026 depending on how the midterms go
All my homies ain't never had autism in the US
Well, at least I’ll be in good company :)
and here I was trying to have a "normal" day. Thanks... :P
Yeah, second this one, Switch 1 Pro controller was great but D-Pad was very meh.
I despise lawyers but they are really needed sometimes. It sounds to me you are close to that time, but you know best.
Are lawyers involved yet?
Yeah, the series has a knack of pulling that whiplash off
"omg this is so beautiful... WTF IS THAT"
Don't think LLMs are healthy for me.
One of my regrets is that I'll never be this cool
