I ran a very similar poll on my channel a few months ago. The vast majority of the few thousand responders said they would roll mew characters and keep the campaign going.
Realistically, provided it works with the narrative, that’s the same thing I would do.

This is 100000% my kind of game. I love to embrace the uncertainty and let actions truly influence the world.

I’m not sure that it would be “OP”. It would almost certainly be better but I don’t see it breaking the game or anything. They obviously opted to not do this which suggests they had a good reason but nothing that jumps to my tired brain lol.
It’s not intended but it’s probably not broken either

It’s funny it actually ended up cheaper for me. I bought the digital only from DNDB but my FLG charges the USD price in Canadian dollars (no exchange) which ended up making it significantly less expensive!

As for times and date, we are still working on that. Another supporter is actually based in the UK as well so you’re not alone. I intend to do my best to accommodate everyone when possible. May even do weekends if necessary but it is intended to be flexible!
