the 2015 one took me months of on-and-off work to complete. I was obsessed with getting tiny details just right, after being impressed by what more experienced artists could pull off. the new one was a 2 hour sketch. i learned that detail isn't everything and that looseness is fun (and faster) lol

somewhat of a.. "spiritual redraw" of this art from 2015! this one was an OC, but I wanted to draw pear butter and the ponies look similar enough that I figured I'd try to redraw the same idea.
