Today I was laid off from Dark Horse Comics. While devastating news, I'm so proud of what I helped make there and am grateful to have worked alongside such amazing coworkers and creators.

I’ve been doing shit for FREE for nearly 2 years now with the hopes that people will look at my work
I absolutely should be requesting money from ppl to help support my life but I value ppl seeing my stuff over getting $$$ bc I want community & support

Ik shits been rough but god I would like someone to pay attention to what I’m doing and drop a couple of bucks to me

Like all of this shit makes me feel like I’m not hire-able or even worth the time of day

It’s absolutely demoralizing to hope that someone will see my work and take a chance on me or having to continue pushing through this
