As someone who liked the movie since I'm a huge Mario fan, I still wish they could've done better with the writing and pacing because it personally didn't feel like a Galaxy movie if you get what I mean. However I still loved what they did with Bowser Jr !

Overall this is a personal 10/10 as a big Mario fan however as a movie itself it's a 7/10. This movie really did what was fun and good in the first one and made it somehow better. However there are still the same issues from the first movie that I hope they fix it next time. Still a fun watch !

-Kinda disappointing for it to be called a Galaxy movie ?
-Simple plot that could've been done better
-1h30 is way too short I wish they added more screentime on certain characters

Overall I'm still excited to watch this Movie tomorrow while knowing that the story is still gonna be as simple as the 1st one but I just hope the pacing can be better than the first one even tho I heard it's still pretty fast paced in few reviews

Personally I don't think it's a main thing to focus on a franchise like Mario. The reason I still love the first movie is because of the stunning visuals and the use of Source material is perfect ! The story itself is just plain and simple and wasn't my main focus when I was watching it.-

Tbh, ppl who really thought Mario movies could get pretty high critics need to remember that this movie is done by Illumination which is mainly made for families and children so they mainly won't focus on the writing at all. And don't get me wrong I would love a good written movie about Mario but-
