There are so many points to make but ultimately, we do not need a soulless computer playing middleman in a place meant to bring people together. I can only hope that the community agrees.

We don’t need to summarize our messages to each other, we can ask each other to do it if we really need to. Words meant for another person are meant to be heard and read. They are connection, the very CORE and VALUE of Discord in the first place. Do not take that away in favor of privacy violations.

The existence of GenAI also shot the prices of RAM up exponentially. RIPGG the gamers and computer builders. And let’s not forget the horrible cost of living for communities around the data centers that power GenAI due energy costs, as well as air and water pollution.
