I got to back him up a couple of times, he was really fuckin' cool. His brother Dewayne was "Otis Day" in Animal House, and lives in Vegas, one time I backed up Jessie in Vegas and the two of them were hanging out together, which was amazing.
I was curious about this a while back, the only two instances I could find of Trump going to church were when George HW Bush died and he went to the funeral, and when he was campaigning in Oct. 2024 he went to church once in Georgia for a photo op. He also spoke at two other church events in 2024.

Very sad to read that Steve Cropper has passed. He co-wrote songs like "In The Midnight Hour," and "Sittin' On The Dock Of The Bay," so he was one of the few guitarists that could live high on the hog--big house, nice cars, no need to worry about next month's bills. Good for him. A life well-lived.
