It was really friggin hard, and a lot of it has been memory holed in the same way that the deaths were.
I was fantastically lucky to be living with my family, and I absolutely would have done terribly if I hadn’t.

A snippet of an ad for the Rolflex, a tool for treating lateral epicondylitis. In the FAQ, it poses the question, "Can I use this with physical therapy?" The answer appears to be a recipe for some kind of mushroom based coffee additive: 1. Brew your favorite coffee and add to cup 2. Add desired amount of Pon De Crem 3. Froth or Blend (and ice if desired) 4. Enjoy!
Just got an ad for this device, which is supposed to help with tennis elbow. I think the FAQ raises more questions than it answers, though.
Although if it turns it he’s playing dadbod Let Me Solo Her, that would be fantastic.

I just listened to two interviews with Herzog and nearly spit out my drink when I saw this.
Literally saw one of these videos the other day where the subject was Jewel, and all I could think was “…why are we watching a video about Jewel set to the Goo Goo Dolls?”
A photo of a trash can on a sidewalk with the headline: “Mamdani to fully fund trash containerization. The new mayor is restarting the trash revolution.”
Yeah, tell me when you get that stuff on Kubernetes.
Using facial recognition tech, the Knicks surveilled a trans woman, tracking her every move out of fear she'd show up on MSG's tv broadcast

I swear there was a post on the Maintenance Phase subreddit about how cool this would be, like, three days ago.
Welcome to Bluesky.
Add flow for swinging on the flippity flop.
Can you imagine a 6000 person org where you’re expected to justify your employment to the CEO, a mouth-breather who is asking Microsoft Copilot how you’re doing against your KPIs?
The big tell here is that apart from being members of the broligarchy, AIs can do a CEO’s job better these people can.
Oh so when Artemis II goes into a blackout period at 8pm on a Friday it’s awesome but when I do it it’s a problem??
I have committed all manner of faux pas in my life. I have been socially awkward, socially inept, accidentally rude, verbally clumsy, and obviously clueless far, far too often.
I am haunted by most of them.
One, though, I'm proud of.
My first couple of months in Washington, DC. I am at the DoJ
Hey look, one of my favorite days in history.
“Googley eyed Moses” is a hell of a band name
Nobody has ever posted through anything as hard as Vance has posted through the Pope calling him a worthless twerp.
Jesus Christ I remember that. Posting anti vax stuff too, if I recall correctly.
It’s just rude, frankly.
If I knew viewing Guernica would put money directly into the pockets of a still living Pablo Picasso, who had announced publicly that he would be using that money to terrorize, harm, and kill women, not only would I not go view Guernica, it would fundamentally change the meaning of Guernica as art.
This is easily the subscription I use the most. I encourage others to sign up.
“Y’know, there was someone else who had long hair and preached love to the world — and he has a lot to say about what’s happening right here, right now. That man’s name was Mike Edwards, lead singer of Jesus Jones”
And yet, Harry!
Or, like, read a god damned book.
Disappointing, but ultimately probably good, update on critical Butter Krak infrastructure. share.inquirer.com/cLm4D5
One of my favorite things is when people put a spooky turn on an old classic.
Laurel Premo’s “Polly Put the Kettle On” creeps me out every time I hear it and I can’t get enough of it.

I keep seeing people ask about the 25th Amendment.
Guys. His entire Cabinet is walking around in shoes that don’t fit because they’re scared to take them off.
The 25th is never happening.
