The color and lighting of this frame alone is mesmerizing. The yellow reflecting off Marrok's legs, the spectrum of light/color from where the sabers clash and blend to bright white vs the distinct blue and red tips. a spectral rainbow!
Still frame from Maul Shadow Lord. Inquisitor Marrok and Jedi padawan Devon Izara battle with lightsabers with a bright yellow billboard behind them.
Said this on the bird app but sharing here too.
I feel like @joelaron.bsky.social could teach an entire masterclass on color theory just using clips from those two episodes. WOW ๐คฏ๐คฏ๐คฏ

Shadow puppet of Maul aura farming as he descends the ships exit ramp
Maul is a shadow, but he's no one's puppet.

My third officially licensed Star Wars Rebels poster released last week. This one is an extra special giclee printed on beautiful art paper with a golden COA. Limited Edition of 150! #starwarsrebels #ezrabridger #darthmaul #thebendu #starwarsart Available at Acme Archives.
Eman Esfandi stands on top of a tall building and leans against a glass railing looking out at a vast cityscape. He is standing just like Ezra Bridger does in Star Wars Rebels.
Ezra Bridger stands on top of a communication tower landscape, with the skyline of Lothal in the distance
Eman just exudes Ezra. #BridgerBrigade #Ahsoka #StarWarsRebels
Nice homage to "Midnight Cowboy" in #TalesoftheUnderworld #TotU
(I added my own voiceover lol)
Poster for Star Wars Tales of the Underworld, featuring Asajj Ventress and Cad Bane

Has it really been an entire 12 months since the last Lucasfilm animation release?!???
Star Wars action figures, mostly from Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, in an original Empire Strikes Back case.
How it all started... Nearly 50 years later, it's hard to believe that something I loved as a kid is still such a big part of my life. Thank you Star Wars!
These are just two wedding rituals involving circling that I'm aware of. Other cultures may perform similar wedding rituals of walking around a circle - if you know of others, I'd love to learn about them.
I love when Star Wars borrows from cultural traditions of our own world.
In this Andor S2 trailer clip, Mon Mothma's family enacts a wedding ritual of walking in a circle that is reminiscent of both the Ashkenazi Jewish tradition of "Hakafot" and the Hindu ritual of "Saat Phere"
@kinermusic.bsky.social Did you do the score for the upcoming Tales of the Underworld? So excited to hear what you've cooked up this time.
Scene from Star Wars Rebels S3E13 (animated). Hera Syndulla speaks with Mon Mothma.
Scene from Star Wars Ahsoka S1E7 (live action). Hera Syndulla speaks with Mon Mothma.
I'd love to see more of how Hera and Mon Mothma became close friends. I know Mon owes Hera a debt of gratitude for shepherding her to safety (Rebels S3E18). By the events of Ahsoka, there is such warmth and trust between them--a strong kinship forged over years.
Scene from Star Wars A New Hope. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker are negotiating with Han Solo. Obi-Wan offers 2,000 credits now plus 15,000 when they reach Alderaan.

Why did it take me 48 years to realize that Han got royally screwed on this deal?

Awesome collection! I recognize quite a few of those
Three book covers from the Star Wars Thrawn Ascendancy trilogy by Timothy Zahn.
With nothing new to watch, I'm relistening to the Thrawn Ascendancy trilogy audiobooks. If you've never listened to Star Wars audiobooks, I highly recommend them. So well-produced, with sound effects and a narrator who does so many different voices.
To all the Star Wars lovers out there:
The idea that the blades will be drawn to each other was fascinating to me

Star wars land speeder toy with Luke Skywalker and C3-PO figures
Pulled out the speeder recently. Had been in a box in my parents house for decades, along with a whole bunch of other figures.
Skeleton Crew Episode 7. Wim, Fern, and SM-33 look outside. Wim says "ls that... that really it?"
Wim saying what we'll all be thinking after tomorrow's Skeleton Crew finale:
Adored #SkeletonCrew Episodes 5 and 6 and wanted to recognize writer Myung Joh Wesner (@/myunglet on the other app), a fresh voice in the storied legacy of Star Wars writers. There was such nuance and grace in KB's revelations to Wim - sparse in words as KB struggled, yet communicated so much. ๐ดโโ ๏ธ
๐ดโโ ๏ธ Aye, #SkeletonCrew day is upon us again! ๐ดโโ ๏ธ
'Tis a time of grand transformation for crew...ship...ALL:
Hard shells breached; soft ones fortified by new understanding.
New forms revealed; true natures uncloaked...
Loving the Haslab Ghost so much that I'm making a custom display for it. Not quite ready for a reveal just yet, but I just did a lighting test with a temporary backdrop and had to share this teaser image. #making #maker #modelmaking #starwars #starwarsrebels #haslab #hasbro
Has anyone figured out if the term "Palmarish" was an easter egg or reference? #SkeletonCrew Pablo? Kristin? @infinata.bsky.social @kristinbaver.bsky.social If anyone would know, they would.

I love how each kid jumps into their role on the Onyx Cinder like a family riding Smuggler's Run in Galaxy's Edge.
Fern steers,
Neel hits the throttle,
KB is the engineer, and
Wim is the gunner.
