When we first moved to Oregon 11 years ago, we would drive into Portland to participate in protests. More recently, we’ve had to only go as far as Clackamas. There were 125 to 150 people last Saturday on 212 for the NO KINGS rally.

Senate Committee Approves Ban On Intoxicating Hemp To Take Effect In One Year A Senate Committee has approved the agriculture spending bill, which would ban intoxicating hemp products, but implementation would be delayed for one year.

Well this is terrifying. I do not sell any THC products, but naturally derived CBD products do contain a small amount of THC. It’s unavoidable, which is why existing law sets a cap at .3% THC. Exceedingly low! But changing it to “absolutely none allowed” would put me and many others out of business.

This reminds me of a conversation I had with an engineer on whether or not something is a Nazi salute because of the angle of the hand. Not the arm, how the hand was angled. I stopped working with a client.
