So I recently found out what “deadtoons” are . . . Lets say I am not surprised why this fandom has such a bad reputation atp. I am not only disgusted but also hella dissapointed.

I do feel genuinely bad for the people spewing pro/darkshippers nonsense but at the same time I understand they’re so groomed into that mindset its hard to get out of especially if they’re surrounded by people telling them its okay or even “good for your trauma” (1/2)

It’s ironic that so many pro/darkshippers act like you are the “right wing extremist” while ltrly siding with lolicons who support trump and think “anime isn’t political”. It’s like saying “oh America good because they helped in WW2” yeah, sure a good action but it doesn’t erase what harmful and horrible stuff America has done

Again, just because they were enemies doesn’t mean one was good and the other was evil. They were both bad and harmful. Again, the world isn’t black and white. Russian propaganda spreads so widely on the internet atm its actually horrifying. People can’t even recognise when they’re being manipulated

I feel like considering how much harm USSR did and how many people were killed, manipulated and scared. USSR should be considered as bad to romanticise as Nazi Germany. (Yes ussr did kill jewish people aswell) and at some point they worked together even though they were against each other.

Certian people were even payed in coupons that they could only use for food, it might sound good but it was only used to keep people from making better money and to cheapen the cost for their labour and lives itself.

Also not to mention. The fact that more people had homes doesn’t mean it helped them. A lot of those homes were cold, in poor condition and the people in them were starving. USSR also cared more about keeping russians wealthy so they killed off people who weren’t Russian when they got good money.

I am someone who considers myself left wing. I want people to help each other, to care about one another and to hold those accountable who have harmed others. But for that people should research and learn about history to the best of their ability & not give into harmful conspiracies & propaganda.

I feel like this history should be more accessible and talked about because it amazes me how other countries even a lot in Europe seemingly don’t teach about this. Sidenote,,, you don’t have to be pro russia nor pro north Korea to be against America. The world isn’t as black and white.

It wasn’t even that long ago and people still speak of it like it was some kind of amazing time when many were genuinely suffering. No USSR isn’t a good example of socialism nor communism. It was corrupt it was controlling and it was painful and scary to live trough.

My assumption atp is that people who spread misinformation and conspiracies on it, don’t have any education about WW2 or how many people USSR harmed and Killed, there are people who went trough that that are even alive today and People still glaze it I could only imagine how sick it sounds for them.
