For a literature class, we read Population 485 by Michael Perry (a Wisconsin author). You just reminded me that I want to read his latest book.

I just want the first thing you read today to be this: it's going to be okay. We are going to get through this together. We will fight back together and prevail, just like last time.

Has anyone else read it?

The author had 5 suggestions at the end:
1. Start a research and development revolution.
2. Remake government policy around competition.
3. Organize farms around new market opportunities.
4. Revitalize rural communities
5. Vote with dollars and time in a whole new way.
