They took us out to a to see a stand up comedian, who spoke his best glaswegian. Being an international bunch, we had to scoop after 15mn and opted for a pub instead. 😅

Then came france, and had to learn it all over again, they had their own word for everything. Pested about it but came to appreciated it instead for the effort to not impoverish their language, /..
