Description of active shooting
Everything’s blocked off. All of 66th street
FYI active shooter in Edina by Southdale now. Heavy police presence. They haven’t caught the shooter yet.
"This is an important thing to think about."
The president of the United States has labeled more than half the country traitors.
This isn’t just a rant. This is setting up a call for action on his part.
It’s been zero days since fixing broken AI generated code. idk what code bases these models trained on but I’m starting to hate React. 15 hooks in a small’ish component that doesn’t need any.
Thanks. It’s so disheartening to find this stuff out. Even crazier that it was recommended by a covid clinic in the twin cities metro for folks who can’t get into the regular clinics.
My dad is down to 3 hours a day at work because he gets exhausted and can’t function at a desk.
What in the hell. Just found out my dad had been taking methylene blue for long covid symptoms. RFK has really irreparably fucked our already terrible healthcare system.
Man my six year old is asking the real hard hitting questions today.
“Dad, why doesn’t Yoshi have a butthole?”
Damn man. The south metro is like actively pursuing the citizens equivalent of a scorched earth policy with regard to data centers poisoning our drinking water, destroying the environment, and jacking up the cost of electricity.
Based on all available data utility bills are expected to triple.
I miss the Minneapolis and St. Paul feed
I think there’s something wrong with me where I’m actively cheering for literally anyone to find significant vulnerabilities with MCP apps. They claim it’s “safe” running in a sandbox iframe.

I have an opportunity to transition my career of 11 years as a full-stack developer to a cybersecurity engineer and for some reason that feels terrifying. It’s like a mix of not feeling worthy, unknowns about career trajectory, and seeing the mountain of certs and training I’d need to feel competent
Ah that’s different then. I guess it depends on what your daily software tools are. I think Atlassian rolled out Rovo to help with generating stories and such. I’ve also heard about using it to make Excel sheet magic.
There’s just some places AI really doesn’t work well at all.
I’m not “forced” to use it at work but I know the Bobs are keeping a close eye on who is using it from each team to the point where they can categorize everyone into AI user profiles like “power user” or “casual user”. So I sort of feel compelled to I guess.
Did they specify in what capacity you have to use it? I know some folks have it set up as a dedicated pull request reviewer. Other people try to use it as a productivity boon when doing the monotonous things like making several similar unit tests.
The best part about AI is reviewing a coworker’s code and then spending hours undoing everything that required context, nuance, and actual understanding.
We’re skipping the part where you understand the problem and are instead jumping straight into misunderstanding the solution.
I swear to god if anything AI related tries to pull an April fools joke tomorrow I’m going to kick off digital Ragnarök
How are there three different Blippi’s now? They’re slowly multiplying in what I assume is a similar process to John Carpenter’s 1982 movie “The Thing”
Um, have we all known that some microwaves let you turn off the sound completely? This is like changing.

This is Lacey. Her snoot has gone into turbo mode. Cannot be held responsible for what it does next. 13/10 #SeniorPupSaturday (TT: snootcuties)
WHO COULD HAVE PREDICTED
SCHLAPP: Who wants to see impeachment hearings?
CPAC CROWD: *cheers*
SCHLAPP: No. That was the wrong answer.
Ron De Santis bans sociology from the core curriculum at state universities, and in particular, forbids any teaching or discussion of cults, their characteristics and psychology. Wonder why. www.miamiherald.com/news/politic...
lol “outbreed the left” they say as the men who aren’t scared of a little Covid keep getting it, ensuring their swimmers don’t swim and that they can’t rise to the occasion.
I would pay absurd amounts of money to have analog controls in my car again. It needs a 1.5 hour long software update to fix a recall? No no no. How about just turny knobs and clicky switches.
