Her whole mindset makes her the center of the universe, but only for the purpose of narcissistically taking on all the sins of the world.
This whole scene is fascinating. For someone who tries so desperately to convince herself of everyone's good intentions, Asya locks on to people's flaws the moment she feels her reality being threatened, and then turns that negativity on herself to preserve her view of the other.

Thanks! But if I'm gonna put the self deprecating aside for a sec, I think it's more that I have tenacity. My actual artistic ability is compensated for by the fact that I put 20 hours a week into drawing and refining what I make, despite working 40 hours on my day job. I am proud of that!
