Today my wonderful Dad turns 70!
Best Mate, sound giver of advice and all round throughly brilliant chap, it’s been epic spending the weekend with him.
What a novelty too, not worrying about getting annual or a cancelled rest day!
Today, I got to visit Bletchley Park; the ‘home of Code Breaking’ an unassuming array of huts, tucked away in the grounds of a stately home.
What most don’t know, is that during the 2nd World War, it’s where the Enigma Code machine was broken.
If you have the opportunity, it’s well worth a visit!
I’ve had a super busy few weeks, and they’re set to continue, but I wanted to pop by 👋🏻
That’s the thing about Policing, it never stops. It doesn’t matter whatever everyone else is doing, Policing continues. 🚓

Truly horrible news from Kent Police overnight; that two of their officers were involved in a serious collision on the A20 in Swanley and remain in hospital in a critical condition.
Thinking of them both and wishing them an incredibly speedy and full recovery.

Two days ago on March 8th Chief Aaron Edwards of the NYPD was doing what so many of us do week in, week out; policing a protest.
Without any warning an improvised explosive devise was thrown towards him and instinctively he chased after the suspect.
