When it comes to moms calling their grown children, has anyone’s mom found that sweet spot between stalking and ghosting?

Got my car washed to get all the winter road salt off. 2 minutes later, a flock of birds bombed my car a dozen times. Got it washed a second time. Pretty sure the car wash man thinks I love him.

Not quite a pet peeve, but I’m unimpressed when random numbers are used in anniversary marketing. Like: 48 years ago, such-and-such album was released. How about waiting 2 years and going big for the 5-0?
