Hey folks, after nearly 4 years at Mad Cave, I was let go this morning. It was a wonderful time getting to work with an amazing list of creators. If we have worked together, please stay in touch. I am available for freelance editing and would love to work with you all in the future.

Let it be terrible. My first drafts are HIDEOUS. What's important is that it gets written, because you can always go back and clean it up, get feedback, improve things, but it needs to exist first.

All of my professional work is collaborative, so it wouldn't be lettering comics... but if I had a whole year, fully funded, I would spend my time learning how to create fonts. Not to sell, nor to use, just to learn how it is done.

It's been so interesting to watch this unfold. Barnes & Noble and other big book chains shut indies down in the the 1990s (and on) and then Amazon came along and ate up all the book market share. Now people tired of big corporations are creating demand for more indies
