88/365 Eaves Wilder - Little Miss Sunshine. Incredibly 90s sounding alt-rock to the point where some songs sounded subconsciously familiar. Some of the vocals a little too breathless, but fun and an artist to watch.

87/365 Sofia Isella - Something Is A Shell. This EP is deliberately not an easy listen.
Slay the Spire 2 screenshot. The Ironclad on 1hp aims a 40 damage Rampage at the Queen who is on 39hp.
Slay the Spire 2 run history of an Ascension 10 Ironclad victory over Doorkeeper and Queen. Deck was a Rampage / Headbutt deck with two Rage+ for block.
I thought I was going to die to the 2nd Act 3 boss for the 3rd time since the #SlaytheSpire2 update, then I realised I could survive on 1hp. Next turn I survived on 1hp with exact block for her attack. Then the Queen took a turn off attacking and I was able to Rampage her out!
Asc10 Success!
Terraforming Mars card Physics Complex with five counters on it. The card requires paying six energy to put a counter on, and each counter is worth two points.
Somehow even managed to make one of the worst cards in the game work (half the counters came from the transfer ability of Trust Valley).
A collection of Terraforming Mars science cards. AI Central and Mars University provide card draws. Antigravity Technology, Earth Catapult, and Research Outpost combine to make all cards cost 5 less.
My final tableau at he end of Terraforming Mars. My corporation was Valley Trust which makes science cards cost 2 less. There are 18 green cards and 12 Blue cards.
Final board at the end of Terraforming Mars. I was the yellow player, and there are only two yellow cities, and only one yellow greenery tile. The red and blue players jab many more of both.
Somehow managed to win a game of #TerraformingMars with an off-board, minimal TR strategy of heavy science. Managed to find so many card draws and cost reductions that I was spamming cards out at almost no cost by the end.

86/365 Brown Horse - Total Dive. Enjoyed this Americana infused folk rock album (think Country Feedback off REM’s Out of Time). Would not have guessed their British, this 2026 album was their third so will check out the others.

Anyone who still has “huge respect” for JK Rowling after Everything she’s said and done has definitionally no respect for trans people
84/365 Ella Langley - Dandelion. Overlong country album, wasn’t a fan.
Slay the Spire board game. My play are as Watcher at then end of the game, I have Silent card Infinite Blades which makes Shivs, Wrist Blade (my 0-cost attacks +1 damage) , Ninja Scroll (once per combat make two 0-cost 1 damage attacks), and 2 Strength from upgraded rare card Wish.
My first four player game of #SlayTheSpire and we won vs Asc 10.
I was Watcher as apparently they are not popular with the other players, and ended up with a many attacks deck designed to be in Wrath as much as possible.

81/365 Melanie Baker - Somebody Help Me, I'm Being Spontaneous. A fun debut album that packs a lot of different stuff into just over 30 minutes. Like a mix of Wet Leg and Courtney Barnett.

I’ve listened to my CD copy so many times over the years and then got really confused when I played the album on Spotify recently and there was a track I didn’t recognise
I also enjoyed The Daughter of the Demon Lord Is Too Kind! a lighthearted comedy, and Champignon Witch, a slow understated rustic fantasy series about witches.
A miss was Roll Over and Die a fantasy series that had potential but was already faltering before some later episodes were terribly drawn.
Of the new shows my favourite was slice of life opposites attract You and I Are Polar Opposites, that pairs off the delightful leads early on so we can see their relationship grow over time whilst other characters develop around them.
A 2026 Q1 anime roundup thread. The best was clearly the two returning shows Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and Jujutsu Kaisen. S2 of Hell's Paradise was good too, even if not at the same level as those.

Killed the Doorkeeper before he got to attack as a Power Potion gave me a Echo Form and so I ended with about 6 Ferals and Claws doing 70 damage.
Summary of a Slay The Spire 2 run.
Got my first Asc 10 win with the Defect. Didn't come close to dying as any time I was in trouble I'd Hologram back my non-exhausting Genetic Algorithm.

79/365 Tenille Townes - The Acrobat. Largely acoustic country singer-songwriter, nothing really that interesting.
78/365 Holly Humberstone - Cruel World. Despite the rave reviews this pop album didn’t do much for me.
Also Sainsburys things happen ON the Island, not IN it. (The new Tesco express made exactly the same mistake on a large exterior sign when it opened last year and had to replace it)
A large cork board is on a wall under a sign ‘Community’. The cork board reads ‘What’s happening on in Isle of Wight’ and is totally empty.

77/365 Sluice - Companion. Okay US folk-rock, some of it just too ramshackle or weird for me.
76/365 Massive Attack - Blue Lines. 6 Music were doing a special day on this album which I’d never listened to in full before. It was okay, but I much preferred the songs with singers (which included the two bug hits) to the more rapped/spoken songs
Presumably they mean they’re going to try and take this to an Upper Tribunal, where they will also lose.
