KK drifts through life sporting that divorced-deadbeat-dad aesthetic, with his scraggly chin-tufts and scruffy ballcap, probably smelling of last week's sweat, yet still managed to pull this out unprovoked? Negative self awareness.
Is everyone involved with Crossing Broad a weasel, or just him?

That cuts off a second set of criteria, which seems to suggest that they could re-sign him

Wow, he valiantly fought the urge to call it Sportsball. I bet he was dying to.
Spent the afternoon with a bunch of the records on your list.
Castle Rat; fun as hell. Henere and Nexion; I don't listen to enough BM, but these were awesome, Nexion especially. Noyé; pure nostalgia, cool that there's still bands doing this sorta thing. Secret World; RAD.
A bunch of stuff in this thread I need to get into.
new Deaf Club LP came out yesterday. Not a band I'm too familiar with. It sounds like early 2000s hardcore, the floppy fringe and skinny jeans variety. It's pretty good.
new Revocation comes out next week too, if tech-death is your jam.
Hell yeah, this is awesome, and quite unlike anything I've heard.
I've never heard anything described as "Oi!" that I actually liked. Until today. This is pretty great.
Those are also some stellar song titles. Dry Shite. Arseways. Mountain of Rubbish. Thick as Shit.
Beautiful.
Awesome, exactly that kind of thing I was thinking. Droney, gloomy, eerie. I dig it!
I decided - just now - that I'm going to get super into Dungeon Synth.
Problem is, most dungeon synth I've heard so far strays too far into cheesy territory.
Anyone got any reccs for DS that doesn't sound like Super Nintendo RPG music? Perhaps less epic fantasy, more moody dirge? Does that exist?
I'd take Mr Beast and 10 Mr Beast clones if we could expunge "I show speed" into the earths core.
He's everywhere, worming his way into everything, and he has fans. Lots of them. But why? What does he do?
Burning Airlines - Mission Control. And an even hotter take; it's the best thing J Robbins has been involved in. Better than Jawbox.
Agreed on Insomniac too. Dookie had the singles, but Insomniac was the better album front to back.
Haven't been on here in several months.
I also hadn't been on Twitter for an equal amount of time. So I logged in for the first time in a while earlier. Within a couple of scrolls, I saw slurs. All the main ones, many times. Lovely.
So I guess I'll camp out here again instead. S'up?
Also, my ISP doesn't even let me access "hualands.com", it immediately flags it as unsafe, and I had to VPN around it.
It's definitely fake. AI advent calendars are a widespread scam. If you buy it, you'll either receive garbage, or nothing at all.
My wife bought an NFL one last year, looked nothing like the picture, and 1000x worse.
Dad would play The Jam and Motorhead in the car. I liked it. He made me tapes to listen to in my bedroom. Few years later, my elder sister was into Green Day, so then I was too. In '99, Napster happened. That kicked the doors open, punk rock obsession began, then hardcore, then metal, and beyond.
I was never too hot on Defeater, though oddly I always had time for this EP, yet their LPs just never stuck with me. Not sure why, it's not wildly different. Maybe it's just the right amount of Defeater, for me at least.

There must have been something quite convincing in that Myles Garrett contract extension that made him u-turn from wanting a Super Bowl run to re-signing with the Browns...
Though there was a sequence in that game that just plain sucked. Couts gets called for tripping HIS OWN GUY, Seattle powerplay, they get away with a tripping call of their own, the referee pins Tippett against the boards, Seattle get out of their zone and immediately score...
If you like penalties followed by impotent powerplays, then the Flyers and the Kraken just put on a clinic for you.
And props to the ESPN sound guy, who decided tonight was the night to get experimental. Just total fucking mayhem.

Gritty should stop being BFFs with team mates and just start being BFFs with me. Danny Briere can't trade me.
Good dude. The best dude. The move was right, but I'm still BIG SAD.
Gonna go eat a tub of ice cream and ugly-cry in my 21 jersey. Later, Sarge.
Epic clapback.
Wouldda been epicer if they added a "ya dingus" at the end, Brule-style.
Oh niceee, I didn't know they had new music on the horizon. Really liked their last EP, gonna spin this now.
The mixed message is that some journalists are saying the opposite. I won't link/screenshot the other app, but Ian Rapaport is saying the team want to go. He's usually reliable, so best not to read into anything until it comes directly from the team. I've not seen that Lurie quote anywhere official.
I also ordered one from Fanatics during the 4th quarter, and mine was dispatched* today(!!)
*tracking says the courier is expecting it, so not really.
Awesome.
