And one was voted on by the public (VA) and the other a criminal deal between the Texas Governor and Trump (TX).

Democrats need to message that at least Virginia took it to the voters. Texas just did it without voter consent - that should be their messaging!

It can not be said enough that the Texas gerrymander was done by a handful of GOP members abusing their power. The Virginia gerrymander was done by a vote of the people of Virginia exercising their power.

Let's not forget that the Texas legislature did their redistricting without any input from the citizens of Texas. Virginia put it to a vote by the citizens of Virginia. Big difference.
