Whenever I encounter someone who believes in using the Oxford comma, I find myself encouraged, delighted, and hopeful.
It’s amazing that out of the 6 photos Iain Macmillan took that Friday in 1969 on Abbey Road in St. John’s Wood - London, only frame 5 was any good, going on to become not just one of the most iconic album covers of all time but one of the most iconic photos of all time, period.
Turned 73 today. Think I've finally reached the "elder statesman" stage of life. More elder than statesman, I suppose. But by God, I've still got a full head of hair. As that sage Carl Spackler would say: "I got that goin' for me, which is nice." Onward!
