Since Phil.... young players have only ever been a means to get the next star and/or veteran contributor. West lost his voice once Jeanie got attached to Phil and they have never kept a young guy since. If they flame out this year, Austin's the next to go.

ah gotcha. although I guess it's funny both were first rostered by the Lakers so there's a similarity there. the Lakers also rostered Orlando woolridges kid multiple summers and gave shaqs kid a shot.
scotty balling but remember he played 3 full years of college and bounced around the gleague for 2 years before becoming an effective NBA player. Bronny barely played his 1 year in college. The scotty we are seeing is like 5 full years ahead in terms of development.
fruit corner shark bites were the truth but once it was Betty Crocker, they weren't it anymore
Never gets old.
I think the first few weeks he was so focused on changing the no defense narrative....he pushed himself too hard on that end initially. it looked like he tweaked something a couple weeks ago and combined with dead legs and horrible schedule... the effort has dropped and the short jumpers increased
I think he's playing hurt
the Mavs didn't show up for the Lakers tonight
wonder if utah does this with no draft comp....then lakers save picks for a wing...
I mean Utah loves them hornacek, giricek, harping, Hayward types lol
Yeah save picks to add to contacts for a wing
Yeah. I get it. I think we have all been playing both sides - (1) compete now and (2) create a cushion for post LeBron. But to win now, have to basically concede sucking post LeBron. Daltons good - but Kessler is also young (actually younger by a few months) and more useful NOW.
i wonder if utah would consider dalton for kessler....dalton is the wrong timeline (and that defense) - and maybe you can get that deal done with no picks attached...
recurring issue with this team has been difficulty inbounding the ball on slobs..especially end game. they need to figure out a way to make it easier
more things change the more they stay the same. lakers still kings of the fake comeback
ruis leash getting shorter and shorter. its only a matter of time
dont think danny really wants to trade kessler unless its something wild (aka unprotect plus 2 picks). barely enough assets for an ingram trade and definitely not enough for both.
yeah. desperately need a backup big, another ball handler, and a bucket getter.
sadly - 20-14 record aside - the lakers just arent very good. have gotten wrecked by just about every good team and any team with length/athleticism completely gives them a hard time.
laker struggles against good teams continues. sadly the 20-14 record is VERY deceiving.
I didn't care what anyone says. The cavs are 14/15 hawks coded.
Lack of shot creation and rim pressure has been missing since Dennis left. LeBron can't do it consistently due to age anymore, so it's really just Austin (who still struggles mightily against length and physicality)
No one's trading anything for those 2 guys and jeanies not signing off on waiving anyone with a guaranteed deal and eating that contract (remember"throwing in" zubac to dump Mike Beasleycs min contract ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ)
I've seen. He's super inefficient shooting the ball, hasn't really facilitated well, ball hogs but can get hot
Move jHS for some 2nds....pick up fultz. Sounds good
Should have gone DFS/Sharpe (of available) and then traded for another ball handler
Devonte graham is not good. That Charlotte year was a huge aberration from the norm
Ok I read that as Greg Oden and got really confused
Pretty sure they view max/cam as their 3&d wings (even though cam can't shoot). Definitely need a big and now definitely need another playmaker/ball handler.
From what I know about him, decent ball handler, not really a creator, and a can get hot and score in bunches guy. Dlo level on ball defense - but not as good as playing passing lanes.
