Nick Nisi Is One Talented Motherfucker An appreciation post for my colleague and friend Nick Nisi โ€” TypeScript wizard, conference organizer, and the best workshop partner I could ask for.

My friend and colleague, @zackproser.bsky.social wrote about... me?!

I'm both tearing up and absolutely mortified. Thank you, Zack!

Oh no! I do but it's apparently not updating. I'll get that fixed.

I'm waffling back and forth. On the one hand I love pi but those integrations in Claude are sticky! Being able to copy a Slack link or ask it to find things in Notion is so good! Anything I can do to eliminate copy and paste feels like an accelerator.

Haha, I can't go without TouchID anymore. Plus, I like having the same keyboard on the laptop and at home.

I've been doing a podcast with @pottedmeatfp.bsky.social on AI Skills called The Skill Tree that is itself an AI skill! Check it out! github.com/Driftful/ski...

My now broken keyboard

My now broken keyboard

Whoever told my daughter about April Foolโ€™s will rue the day!

When I dropped her off at school she just said โ€œhave fun typing today!โ€

She switched around some keys on my keyboard and, unbeknownst to her, broke the it.

Case Statement: Because Steering Agents Doesn't Scale | Nick Nisi I codified my job as a DX engineer into a system that dispatches agents, enforces conventions mechanically, and learns from its own failures. Here's how case works and why I think every developer shou...

Nearly 100 attendees at last night's NebraskaJS

Quite the turnout at last night's NebraskaJS in Lincoln! We demo'd several AI workflows from developer and non-developers. Truly inspiring to see how this technology is reinventing work!

Harness Engineering: @chantastic and @nicknisi YouTube video by WorkOS

I had a great time chatting with @chantastic.bsky.social as we figured out what an agent is versus a harness and dug into a fun weekend experiment I had trying to automate coding from start to finish.

I made the mistake of telling my 7 year old that "el jefe" means "the boss" in Spanish. Now he's going around saying "I'm el jefe!"

Writing My First Evals | Nick Nisi I had no background in evals. I built two very different evaluation systems for two AI-powered developer tools, and they taught me the same lesson: trust isn't a feeling, it's a measurement.
