again, im not certain how else they could've presented it, so if you have other ideas of your own that you think could've made the dlc feel more satisfactory then let me know. i could also be struggling because i dont see an issue with it personally.

discouraging and i dont think it's meant to be as literal as telling someone suicide is the only answer, just a representation of the conscious choice to leave haru alone and never have met him along with aoi never meeting him in the first place so that both of them don't get worse.
i understand it's not a pleasant message to take it as and i truly don't blame you at all for disliking it for that. i dont quite have much else to say besides what i already said that points to it being a healing ending. except i guess about the suicide, i don't really view it as THAT
.... post* i forget im not on twitter
its the tweet after the one i replied to saying "he could've been saved if aoi reached out to him more and if haru didn't enable him as much", my apologies it seemed like it was placing the responsibility onto them both with that wording.
logical thing to infer from their dialogue after the credit roll. there's also no other logical explanation why he's with aoi in there
aoi and shion are together and enthusiastically walking home talking about how mom made dinner and dads coming home early if it's not in an universe where they're both happier. because they would dread it instead if it wasn't. i can give you the screenshots once im free but that's the most
specifically says he killed his former self when he met haru, implying some kind of rebirth. if hes doing it again, physically, that would mean a rebirth takes place again as well. except it's not a simple metamorphosis but a full on reincarnation. and there's no other good explanation as to why
"universe" thing could've been portrayed? from the way saihate station works in general, that seems to be the only way to leave it if not via the tickets except it erases your existence. shion was also erased when haru killed him in ending a.
rebirth is also a prominent thing in the dlc, and shion
i understand not liking it and its fine if you still do regardless of what im replying with i just wanted to correct you on the "anti-recovery" aspect.
i think you're mostly hung up on the fact he's portrayed as killing himself. is there a different way you'd think the "erasing self from
that's why he doesn't want shion to heal without him because he has nothing else and by his logic he should stay with haru because they're both "worthless and miserable anyway" and he finds comfort in that
i also don't think it's fair to speak of haru enabling him as if it's a moral falling on his part and that he should be responsible for it. again he's got his own problems and he's unbearably lonely with the lowest self esteem ever. what else could he really do for shion if he himself needs help
acknowledge himself that haru never truly made him happy and that he regrets everything he's done to aoi
shion freaks out because haru understandably is pissed off due to him admitting he loves him being pathetic and miserable and in tasoden he refuses to acknowledge that haru is the haru hes always known because it goes against his perception of him. they couldn't have helped him if he didn't
i simply think its unfair to say they should've done anything more than they did when they both have problems themselves and shion himself doesn't wanna hear it from them. that's what the cake scene is about. haru himself also did not enable him at some point and what happened? in saihate
i understand how it seems anti-recovery but that's not how it's supposed to be at all. by choosing to end his existence without haru he's choosing to leave behind their unhealthy relationship and live in a happier universe with aoi
even if he never met haru he'd still be abused and miserable. aoi did try to reach out to him and he distanced himself due to inferiority. and if he freaks out at the prospect of haru being independent and not as weak as before he most definitely couldn't have done anything for him
thats the exact message the dlc spreads though, its not "shion is the reason for everything" it's that "harushion are better off apart". the scene with aoi after the ending is exactly him being in a new universe where he is loved in a happier family. it's supposed to be healing

how do i make a new hyperfixation about sigverse games. i thought both had similar themes to cold front, dead plate and a bit of omori. tho the main characters reminded me of augwin a lot so here it is #coldfrontfanart #coldfront #coldfrontgame
