Watched yesterday after more than 30 years Wanda by Barbara Loden again, and it left me speechless. Probably one of the finest first long features ever made. I was not prepared that it had such an emotional impact on me. I think Marfuerite Duras was right, the film is a miracle.

I ronically when I watched the ARTE documentary on Terrence Malick, there was a quotation from an interview, Malick did with a French film critic from Le Monde. and that was exactly the quotation I was looking for to qote when I wrote on the newest film by Rima Das Not A Hero.

Gave myself this weekend two films on the big screen, Mona Fastvold´s The Testament of Ann Lee (in 70mm) and Christoph Hochhäusler´s La Mort Viendra. Enjoyed both films very much and I was happy to see them in cinemas.
