1995 on a trip round the USA I hired a MTB in winter park Co.
4th July weekend. Was busy so only a morning available. Swapped the cables on the XT cantilevers. Sat in diner across rd from hire shop after, family roll down the ramp . Dad goes OTB…oops forgot to swap them back… 🤦🏻

And there was me thinking it was due to the side we carry our swords…
Mid 2000s A mate hired a DH bike in France. Took the lift to the top of the mountain. Dropped in. First time hitting the brakes has a huge crash due to swapped brakes. Still has the Nokia 6310 shaped dent in his thigh muscle..
