The Muji ones you can get at Muji or online. I doubt a stationary store would carry it 😅

Two last things: I also have a cheap Campus notebook from Oomomo that works good, too

and I don’t use my Kaweco Sport Fine with any of these notebooks. I don’t like how it looks or feels. I only use it with extra cheap Muji notebooks.

I’m bad at photographing ink but the sheen and shading comes through. The paper is smooth but not slippy. And the pages aren’t sepia so i can see the pen colour.

I like these both way way way more that any other notepad I have

I’ve tried a bunch of fancy papers and I don’t like most of them. I’ve tried Leuchturn (sp?), Rhodia, Clairfontaine, and another and don’t like them. The paper I like the best is in this notepad from Muji. Close second is this Maruman

and its not that it isn’t a good pen; it’s that if you prefer a light pen — which you won’t know if you’ve never used a fountain pen — then this isn’t a pen you’ll like

as a writer i took issue with the way this was framed

yes if you don’t like a heavy pen you wont like it but it’s still a good pen

i only have two pens (that arent the Waterman with no converter) and they’re both TWSBI Diamonds that (to me) arent cheap

however, i do look forward to the one that was filled with the unholy mix of black and sparkly blue to turn evil after the ink turns to toxic sludge! ai have plans! muahahahah!

i combined light sky blue with black wanting to just make the blue a bit darker. just a drop of black made it blue-grey, which i liked

i get it its just that it’s all so vague

and because i’m an entire gremlin i have this vision of fountain pens gone evil because of bubbling green sludge fountain pen ink 😅

my pen just jumped out of my bag and threatened to shiv me if i ever do this again to it so i think ive learned my lesson

i’ll be bringing my pen to hazardous waste disposal once i subdue it with alcohol

i ended up mixing a little bit — just enough to half-fill my twsbi diamond — and i don’t regret it

i got a really pretty blue-grey colour with a hint of purple

its like when you have the last bits of hair colour and you combine them together… 😅

i have two pens with no cartridges. i don’t know why i would have pens i can get rid of. the whole point is to not have a disposable pen

but really what’s gonna happen? will the pen blow up? turn evil?

i figure worst case is the colour is ugly or clumpy and ill have to flush the pen

i think you’re misunderstanding quarts going on: i don’t want to start an ink mixing hobby; i have two inks — one that is too light and one that is too boring — and wanted to know if i could mix them to see if i could get something i liked

otherwise these two inks are gonna stay in their jars

Like i have a very sparkly ink that’s super light that i bought on a whim

and i have a black ink that’s boring af

could i mix the two together (in a small bottle separate)? would that work?

maybe i should just try
