And you could very well be correct! All I'm saying is we never really know what they're thinking. Prime 4 had the dev cycle it did and was what it was, their assessment of potential sales and value is wacky. I can even see them seeing the original Zero dev cycle as investment yet to pay off.

I need to boot it back to to see. But I do imagine they've tried. Now if it's tried and failed, or put the time in to actually rework it, we'll have to see. If we got Xenoblade Chronicles X I'll believe anything. Yes yes different devs but still.

Also, what with game share, I think that side mode what with the bomb would be fun asymmetric multiplayer or something. I forget it. But yeah.

I imagine they've spent time doing some wacky stuff. Like. So the mouse doesn't turn on til you start to yes it yeah? Putting down the mouse changes control scheme to closer match the gamepad gyro. Or something. I'm not saying this is good. It is interesting to think about though.

I like the ability of filling in the gaps that we don't get anymore. The simplicity of the graphics on the DS and prior give you a lot to work with. But now things are kind of bland. SV was good because scenes were few and far between I guess. But I miss the old games.

The team composition helps weave this roleplay. Busting down doors with a thunderstorm or an explosion of fire.

But champions is just. Battles.
The modern games haven't left much room for make believe as there's real cutscenes.

I know why I don't jive with Pokemon Champions. Or most of modern Pokemon at all anymore.
It's because I play for the World. For the Map and the light story that comes with it. I do stupid ego stroking roleplay in my head about my trainer and their team breaking into Team Rocket Strongholds.

Season 2 will be defined by refining elements and doing things I don't think many others have ever done before. Or at least a couple of my ideas I have never seen. It will be fun!

Season 1 (More or less Year 1) was defined by finding my voice and finding the time. I developed a workflow for streaming, and uploading to Youtube while making simple thumbnail assets. Also my streaming layout went though a few changes.

I have had a number of brainstorms recently, and the computer upgrade likely means I will be able to start streaming in 1080p 60fps. I will not start doing that yet as my current OBS assets are not ready.
That being said, in the background I will be working on a Season 2 of sorts.

Systems are set to be operational Tuesday.
