(I didn't do the hospital/school story but ones I do often have some slightly alternating headlines and different SEO headlines soon after they're published, so yeah I never really think much of it)
I'm not an editor but I used part of some SEO headline in my tweet that's basically the same as the one quoted in the other headline version. Stories often alternate between different heds through the day, especially as they live on the home page, idk
How the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran have left its schools and hospitals in ruins

New investigation from @trbrtc.bsky.social and @johnismay.bsky.social on an American PrSM (missile) being used against an Iranian sports hall and school. These missiles were filmed being fired from a HIMARS in Bahrain weeks ago.

Along with how dead/hollow the ROM/AI's smile and laugh are, the very unsettling way that it has no permanent memory (framed as being ROM vs. RAM in the book) despite imitating human emotions and having a limited set of "memories" to draw upon with its output was great.
I just read Neuromancer for the first time, and while the actual plot and most of the writing was not really as remarkable as I was expecting (it was fine, but y'know), the thing that struck me was how well written the Flatline AI was. It really reflects the hollow creepiness of actual modern AI.

Neither the U.S. nor Bahrain would confirm that it was indeed the U.S. military launching these missile launches at Iran. Bahrain only maintained to us that they were not participating "in any offensive operations."
The State Department approved the sale of four HIMARS launchers to Bahrain last August, but delivery takes some time, especially with it being in such demand after very public success in Ukraine. The U.S. maintains a military presence in Bahrain.
A US-made HIMARS launcher was filmed firing missiles at Iran from Bahrain. Most other Gulf states have denied that the US has launched attacks from its soil against Iran. Bahrain has remained silent on this question.

Great Reddit post of a new Playstation owner's impressions in 1995 (spoiler: he preferred the 3DO)

You better believe I've had them in my feed for the last year or two
(The post is about Sabrina Carpenter hosting but it's better out of context imagining a dude sneaking looks at Miss Piggy)
