Today I’ve been out talking to residents and delivering our Focus about a proposed development of 900 new homes for our area. It’s been very interesting to hear peoples’ views on the proposals.

Children with dyslexia are being massively let down by an education system that simply isn’t built to accommodate their needs. That’s why I was proud to join with campaigners outside Parliament this week, calling for real action to support their learning.

The climate and nature crisis is one of the most pressing challenges facing our generation. I am pleased that Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and climate champion Dominique Palmer are also backing @libdems.org.uk MP Ros Savage’s #CANBill - which aims to ensure we put our planet’s future first.

As people get ready to head home for Christmas, those travelling locally will have to endure extra delays due to the ongoing closure of the A432 M4 overbridge. On Thursday, I used Parliament's last sitting day of the year to push for a debate on this important issue affecting our roads.
