Feminist Librarianship (Ed. Kirsten Macquarrie) launched last night! Wonderful collection of lived experience & inspiration. I'm starting to see it more in extractivist terms, like oil. The dangers will be known and documented but it will just play out in court cases without decisive action being taken. Something that might in certain contexts be very useful is squandered and wasted with devastating consequences.

This is shocking to read about, Kristie. I can unfortunately believe that men get away with this every day, a truly awful symptom of our violent and misogynistic society.

Anyone know what plan is for national cycle route during and after Glasgow Waters develop "Yorkhill quay"? Currently safe cycle / footpath cut off without warning for undetermined time. Plan for access in future also not clear. It is on my commute to work and well used #cycling #glasgow

Bela Tarr just died so thinking of setting up a neighbourhood screening as some folk need to a bit more contemplation in their lives.

I've a theory (based on nothing but my own conjecture) that as owning property has become less attainable, cars have become a way of establishing status, adult progress and permanency through the rite of ownership

I'm grateful to National Library of Scotland and University of Glasgow for support making Childish, and to Cove Park where much of Blame was devised and shot.
