#5debutalbums50s60s Currently pondering on which albums clearly hint at future greatness (typically containing several covers) and those that arrive somehow more fully formed. In the former camp I'd put Dylan, The Stones, The Kinks, The Beach Boys and...The Beatles and those may not make the cut!

#5albums50s60s3 Hi everyone. Not directly connected to Richard’s excellent polls, but I’ve just finished reading ‘Listen’ by Michael Faber, a thought-provoking ( & provocative) ramble on how and why we listen to music. Opinionated, kind of researched, annoying & compassionate, it’s worth a look.
