Probably the craziest season of football I've ever watched. It felt like every week the favorite to win it all changed, and there was nearly a game a week that felt like "the game of the season". Incredible football all year around.

This might be the best cooking competition show out right now. This show has some of the coolest challenges I've seen in a cooking show, and the contestants are all really fun and likeable. The edit was very consistent despite juggling a massive cast size.
Destination X
(6/10)
Geoguessr but in real life feels like a slam dunk idea for a game show, but the back half of this show is filled with so many random twists that it kinda makes the source material pretty obsolete and distant. Fun enough show, hope S2 dials down on the twists.

Nubby's Number Factory (8/10) [NEW]
Objectively 8/10 is a bit high because there isn't a ton of depth to the gameplay itself, but this game is rated this high just because of the aesthetic. This game is ripped straight out of the computer lab in a 2006 classroom in its visuals and it's fantastic.
Supervive (8/10) [NEW]
"What if a MOBA was a Battle Royale game" is not exactly a groundbreaking concept but whatever this game is very very fun and is super easy to pick up and put down whenever because matches last like 10 mins.
Bloody Game 3 (8/10)
As someone who watches a lot of Korean reality shows, this show sometimes feels like a parody, and this most recent season did not help. The cast and gameplay is fantastic, but they cannot stick with a twist for more than an episode or 2 at a time, which gets really confusing.

Surviving Paradise (3/10) [NEW]
Netflix needs to fire whoever is coming up with these lazy reality shows. It was advertised as Too Hot To Handle meets the Mole and it literally has no aspects of either. Everything up until the penultimate episode truly felt pointless and random. Really good winner.
University War Season 2 (8/10) [NEW]
Teams of four students from all of South Korea’s top universities compete in the genius against one another.
idk who keeps funding these shows but im really glad they are. some of the students definitely were a lil too screentime hoggy though

2025 Media Thread
honorable mention because it released like end of 2023 but i definitely played it more in 2024 but warioware move it is very good and is truly a great sequel to warioware smooth moves and i will use any and all excuses to glaze warioware
1. UFO 50
its hard to just say "this game is so good" because there's 50 GAMES TO SAY ARE GOOD
everything about this game makes me smile so wide, this truly feels like an alternate history nes collection and there are so many awesome concepts for games that could only work in a game like this. <3
2. Balatro
oh wow you really liked balatro violet really good opinion you fucking hack
balatro is so fun its actually fucked up how fun it is because it has directly contributed to my gambling addiction but who cares
always take hanging chad its the best joker in the game
3. Mario Party Jamboree
they did it. nintendo made a mario party game that i really really enjoy. the only thing keeping this from being my goty is that the buddy mechanic isnt great, but man do i have fun playing this game
also i can confidently say i can kick anyones ass at the koopathlon
4. Antonblast
in back to back years some wario land-like game shows up and completely blows me out of the water. turns out the solution to making a game appeal to me is making the main characters alcoholics with weapons that just break shit
5. Marvel Rivals
i have a love hate relationship with overwatch aka i love hating on overwatch but then marvel shows up with this dope ass overwatch game and now i look like an asshole for hating on overwatch because it hooked my ass right back
top 5 games of 2024 i played this year but they also came out this year so its ok
