Hoffman strikes out the side after a leadoff single by Jo Adell. Not a nervous ninth at all. Hope you're all doing OK.

Ian Millar riding Big Ben during a show jumping competition, captured mid-air over a jump. The horse is stretched forward with front legs tucked tightly and hind legs lifting off the ground. Millar leans low over the horse’s neck, wearing a red riding jacket, white breeches, black boots, and a black helmet. The jump includes a red-and-white rail with a flower arrangement in a large decorative planter to the left. The background shows a blurred indoor arena crowd.

Big Ben was a champion.
With his rider Ian Millar, he earned $1.5 million in his career.
Not only is he one of the few non-humans in Canada's Sports Hall of Fame, he has been honoured with a stamp and a statue.
This is the story of a legendary horse.

A collage of eight landscape images arranged in a grid. The images include Mount Logan with snow-covered peaks, Great Slave Lake with open water and a distant treeline, the winding Mackenzie River seen from above, and a glacier flowing to a coastal cliff on Baffin Island. Another image shows a satellite view of Manitoulin Island with surrounding water and inland lakes. There is also a snowy scene at Upper Dumbell Lake with exposed rock layers, a shoreline view of Great Bear Lake with clear water and storm clouds, and a highway scene at Highwood Pass with a roadside elevation sign and mountain backdrop.

Canada has an varied and beautiful landscape. No matter where you go, you will see something amazing.
But what is the tallest mountain, deepest lake, largest island, highest paved road, and more?
This is a list of those geographic record-breakers!

STUBB: On battlefield, from December to April, Ukraine has been killing 30,000 to 35,000 Russians per month. And Russians are not able to recruit as many soldiers as they are losing. And 95% of these kills are happening unmanned, with drones.

Tomorrow we may reach another landmark.

At some point this evening I expect the 250,000th Russian drone to be destroyed. A quarter of a million of the killing machines (of all types, big and small)

Nothing unusual in today's table of Russian losses.

By 8am Russia had fired 142 long range attack drones, one of which was still flying and I later hit Ukraine.

That took the total UAVs breaching air defence to 29.
Ukraine managed to stop 113, but a success rate of just below 80%

One other new serious daytime attack so far today, too.

One person is dead and four injured in Zaporizhzhia when Russian drones struck.

Among the wounded is a 10-year-old child.

how ridiculous for Tampa Bay Lightning fans to chant "USA, USA" last night against Montreal Canadians? Montreal has more USA born players than Tampa, and Tampa has more than half its team from Canada.

#Bluejays set a franchise record by having their first eight hitters of the game come around to score and they cruise to a 10-4 win in Arizona.

They're now 8-13 on the season.

Last year, they broke out of a 7-13 slump with a four-game winning streak. They're off to see Gibby & Romano in Anaheim.

JFC the details in this—and the complete and utter lack of understanding of, and care for, both international diplomacy and the arts that they reveal.

I mean, I knew it was bad, but holy crap.

And now I’m really worried about the Kennedy Center’s art collection on top of everything else.
