I did say I've been hit by, I've been struck by a shit film.
But I dont think I can use it in a review, I'm afraid.

The new VERY hagriographic Michael Jackson biopic starring MJ's nephew is out at the end of the month. But back in 2004 an unauthorised and EQUALLY flattering biopic was made in Canada. Here is a clip and I promise you have NO idea where it's going. I haven't done a single edit here.
To the surprise of no one, the film MICHAEL is all smooth and no criminal.
I did like his villain role in 3000 MILES TO GRACELAND.
He looked like he had a lot of fun doing that.
Few directors can make the lead up to the stand off as thrilling and intense as the stand off itself. Leone doesn’t rush anything allowing the tension build perfectly. Combined with Morricone’s absolute classic score it’s a masterful display of filmmaking at its finest!
I watched SILVERADO for the first time yesterday and it was so weird to see Costner so wide-eyed.
For tonight's Midnight Movie Madness, I'm going for another Sato joint. After enjoying one of his more frivolous entries with RAFURESHIA, the next film of his I have chosen is apparently one of his more depraved entries.
I present to you DOLL (aka NEW WIFE SLAVE - FORCED CARESS) by Hisayasu Sato.
ok this is a good poster with a good tagline
It'll be ADR'd in when there's enough complaints from us.
Traditional musician biopics down. Parodies/mockumentaries of musician biopics up.
I hope I can make it to this screening.
Didn't realise how soon this was, but I'll be introducing Tsui Hark's Peking Opera Blues for Cinema Reborn on Friday 8 May at Sydney's Ritz Cinemas. Join me for a bona fide Hong Kong classic that has renewed resonance in these tumultuous times of ours. cinemareborn.com.au/Peking-Opera...

It was good seeing the lead of BLOOD AND GOLD play the mob boss villain here.
For tonight's Midnight Movie Madness, after enjoying MUSCLE immensely, I've decided to watch another film from the same director. He's definitely one of the great discoveries in film I've had this year.
I present to you RAFURESHIA (aka WIFE IN HEAT: WHILE HUSBAND IS AWAY) by Hisayasu Sato.
There was one horror movie (that I liked) that after it ended, one audience member said out loud "that was the worst movie I've ever seen".
That was IT COMES AT NIGHT.
William Friedkin told that story at a film festival and it's one of the funniest things you will ever see.
The screening of EXORCIST II - THE HERETIC where one of the people shouted:
"The people that made this piece of shit ARE IN THIS ROOM!"
Did you just say...re-sellers?
LASER BEAM!!!!
I said the exact same thing when I really got into Lifetime movies.
The joke that should've stopped working, and yet it still is going strong.
Doctor Albert Beck!!
Go, Flash! Go!
JEEPERS CREEPERS REBORN.
I'm a raccoon for dumbo horror films but man alive! That was rubbish.
It's...A ROCKETSHIP!!!!
AVENGERS - GAME DAY!
