Last week, Sessional Faculty voted 83% in favour of taking strike action if talks break down at the bargaining table. This result means that Mac’s move to file for conciliation has backfired, galvanizing the membership and providing the bargaining team with significantly more leverage at the table.

Remember a year ago when McMaster opened its graduate student residence while it was still under construction? Now the university is struggling to fill the building because of the issues that plague(d) it.
