Tonight in VA was not primarily a partisan victory; it was a victory for democracy. Those of us who believe in the flourishing of pluralistic democracy using democratic means to defend from its enemies. Actually fighting against authoritarian drift. We can do it. Congratulations, Virginia! Republicans are trying to tilt the midterm elections in their favor, but they haven’t done it yet. Thanks for showing us what it looks like to stand up for our democracy and fight back.

He still needs to be removed from office. A war powers resolution will not suffice. He circumvented Congress to start the war. He circumvented them on tariffs and appropriations. Why anyone thinks he'd adhere to a Congressional war powers resolution is beyond me.
