You may be on the train "Burning Man is just bunch of SF tech bros getting high on acid" BUT it started as a grassroots gathering 40!! years ago. If Ethereum community and pop-up cities want to learn about how community culture is maintained and how it evolves it's from people like Marian.
Some of them do.
That's apparently because they have a tendency to grow in groups/clusters - like grapes. I guess that's a bit similar to pineapple.. the first impression counts.
I mean we still call ZKPs "proofs" and my logician heart hurts a bit every time I say the word.. so eeh.. why not :D

NEW BOUNTIES! ๐ธ
Weโve got the first $15,000 ready for our hackers ๐ฉ๐ฝโ๐ป๐จ๐ปโ๐ป
Youโll have a chance to snag them across three tracks (which are the same also for the conference):
๐ Ethereum Core Award
๐ Network Economy Award
๐ Future Society Award
And yes, itโs all going down here ๐
Thank you ๐
Didn't know about this. Thanks for sharing!
I have to admit that vibecoding my first semi-self improving agent gives me similar thrills as deploying the first Solidity contracts a decade ago ๐ซฃ
Curious to find out who are the people on Bluesky to follow to learn from - any recommendations?
cheeky-gorilla.eth comes straight out of Protocol Guild ๐ฆ
And of course, heโll be our next speaker at ETHPrague 2026! Weโre happy to have him back again ๐
Make sure to snag your tickets and follow us for more news ๐
Thank you, Pรฉter! You've left a huge mark on Ethereum - the fact we can praise it for having a continuous uptime of 10 years goes to your credit by a good chunk! ๐โโ๏ธ
Weโre proud to host a special event celebrating 10 years of Ethereum!
Join us as we honor a decade of innovation, community, and decentralization.
Letโs celebrate the #EthereumDecade together! #Eth10Years
@ethereum.org
I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments about what you liked or disliked the most! Thank you to everyone who has already shared their feedback. ๐
If you missed it, here's an aftermovie to show you what you missed: ๐

Three talks were recorded without sound - apologies to the speakers who missed the opportunity to share their presentations.
๐ Rehearse with the entire production team.
For the rest, you can find all recordings here:

๐ This is for everyone!

What I'm NOT proud of:
- We managed to convince only 100 hackers to join us
๐ Next year, the conference should be free for hackers
- Quality and cleanliness of the venue were subpar
๐ Improve the quality of the environment
- There was no free food due to a low budget
8/
I'm also glad we attracted students and teachers from European universities such as @CVUT.cz, @blockchain.uzh.ch, @vut.cz, @TUM.de, and @vse.cz.
Next year, I'd like @ethprague.bsky.socialโฌ to offer even more opportunities for academics and students to discuss pure research!

Proud of Eniko and the @ducttape.events crew for bringing everything together under one roof, gathering ppl like:
- Joachim Schwerin & Ondrej Kovarik on policy
- Sustainability experts from @IKEM.de
- OGs like Nico Bacca & Jordi Baylina
- Brains like @sara-polak.bsky.social & Tomas Mikolov

Excited for this group therapy session ๐ www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Qu...
Hats off to Jerome de Tychey, a long-standing, unsung champion of @ethereum. Not only did he kickstart one of the most significant gatherings in the space, @EthCC.io, but his team, @Cometh.io, is shipping like crazy!

Honored that @ETHGlobal.com hosted the hackathon in Prague, raising the bar for event quality in the CEE region for over 600 hackers!
I'm truly grateful to the entire team for all they do!

Thrilled to have witnessed Chris Fabian and Aya sharing their story and progress on the @Giga.Global project, and how @unicef.orgโฌ
is leveraging @Ethereum.

What am I proud of?
I'm thrilled and humbled that Sir @timbl.bsky.social engaged in a dialogue with @vitalik.ca to discuss how the Web and Ethereum have evolved and where these two technologies may overlap in principles and usage.
@Ethereum.org has much to learn from @w3.org

It's a wrap for the 4th year of @ethprague.bsky.socialโฌ!
A few numbers first:
- Over 1,000 people checked in!
- 162 speakers presented
- 24 hours of conference time produced almost 48 hours of free educational video content for the world to share
Here is my quick retrospect:
1/
This may be the most important dialectic on technology of this decade: Sir Tim Berners-Lee and @vitalik.ca will discuss internet and blockchain adoption and sharing thoughts on Web3.0's future!
What question would you like to ask them?
1/ Redditโs r/ETHFinance has merged with r/Ethereum. Find ETHFinance mod crew and daily chat on r/Ethereum: www.reddit.com/r/ethereum/c...

Ah :( rest well!
Imho it's closer to platforms which pay users for watching ads
The case of Google is, as you say, for Google to get the $
I rather meant creating a counter incentive, like:
Get a broswer extension which checks the content you visit:
Then if you open up a flat-earth video, an alternative is offered:
"watch this instead and get $1"
Ofc this isn't practical and the worst case is dystopian.
Actual I should dig a bit into the latest dopamine research once the time allows
Do you think behavioral incentives could counterweight the engagement factors?
It works on a high level - well educated people tend to earn more (oversimplification ofc).
Purely theoretical though:
If it was so, then we could quantify the cure - throw $100M on a table and 'flat-earthers' no mo'
I'm so grateful for DeFi and overall smart contract composability!!! ๐ ๐
The minute you realize you can enable a feature without implementing it just because the components fit so nicely into each other.. priceless
Thank you devs!
