to be clear I get why and I am not sure it's possible to avoid it, espresso is deeply personal and almost ritual like so tempers flare when people get into it.

I love that the espresso reddit is incredibly opinionated and often filled with rage and rage baiting... lol... I have seen actual shitpost reddits with less toxicity.
second solo victory in Slay the Spire 2 was a Necrobinder doom build, I admit I redid the final fight like 4 times (if you close the game it resumes at the beginning of the fact) but it was the Doormaker so I do NOT feel bad at all for cheesing it a bit with resets lol.
jesus... I get that some people have a low opinion of men (often deservedly) but this is some next level bullshit from her lol.
normalize healthy joyful relationships in media without just using it to traumatize us later.
as someone with pretty bad scolisis I relate to how awful this is.
took forever because my brain has a hard time with this game but I got my first StS2 solo run with over 80 hours of play time lol... was a Silent shiv build with basically every shiv upgrade you can imagine.
I think Linux is almost there for me but none of my issues are as bad as the issues I had last time I dallied Linux, maybe I will dual boot again but it's a lot of hassle.
I actually was not a deckbuilder guy till I played this and now I am deep into Slay the Spire 2 due to my addiction to Vampire Crawlers in a funny twist but yeah if you dislike the genre while it does bring some new things it might not be enough to overcome that.
they also did a very charming video series on the games mechanics.
there is a demo for one thing with an alarming amount of content hiding in it but it's a deck builder with a turbo function where playing cards in ascending cost creates combos and combos buff up the benefit of any care played in said combo, also it has the same kind of humor and lore as Survivors.
FH6 and surprise Vampire Crawlers are at the very top of my list.
it probably should be as that franchise fascinates me but it also stresses me out, it's Forza Horizon 6, I have been waiting for this game since Forza Horizon. (I have loved every game in this sub series though)
we have one game in common (nothing against these games, I might even buy some of them but one is a HUGE yes)
Genuine curious why so many games start on the wrong monitor with multi monitor computer setups... is it the games fault? is it an engines fault? is it windows fault? some combination of the above? weird annoying shit.
combine said power saving features with the fact that apparently the brightest minds in scales can't figure out how to let a wireless scale change and function at once and it means if you take any amount of time to do a thing they turn off, it's so entirely illogical.
This is part crash out and part long term realization but almost all of the scales the specialty coffee communities prop up as the best are kind of garbo, they all either have useless features designed to inflate the price for no real world benefit or have mystying power saving features.
fantastic!
@jasonschreier.bsky.social related but in a new thread as to not highjack, any hype for Vampire Crawlers? I am chomping at the bit.
a second blue check has hit the timeline?
She is soooo close to the right answer (which was always take the bus)
people are so damn weird.
-harming their own experience by latching onto broken things and not branching out at all, in practice this locks them into that bottom group that never really achieves success and also being bitter about nerfs needed or not.
games do not need to be setup for everyone that is why I said interesting and not bad, I Just find it interesting seeing how different the reaction to changes are when you have such wildly different play levels, especially as the lesser skilled players are not likely to think about how they are-
why I say this is interesting is because you will only see the third group very rarely and for short stints within the stream community and so in those communities it often looks like the average player does reasonably well which is not what the games sales numbers suggest.
it's interesting to me that Slay the Spire 2 community can kind of be split into 3 groups, people who consistantly win runs and play at a very high level, people who play at a middling level and finish runs a lot of the time and people who struggle with the game in a major way.
and so much inspo for your future works!
1 or 2? (both amazing just curious)
the Pump Panel Reconstruction Mix of Confusion by New Order famously used in the original Blade movie for the Blood Rave.
also I could see starting early and waiting till your start time... so I guess I kind of answered my own question
