Italian voice actor Carlo Bononi was the voice of all of the characters on Pingu. A trained clown by trade, he used a theater technique called grammelot, which consists of "speaking" in a mix of babbled gibberish noises. He improvised all the voices live and unscripted.

A woman with short, greying dark hair stands outdoors beside an old red British phone box. She wears a teal button-up shirt tucked into high waisted dark jeans and black shoes. A pair of sunglasses hangs from her shirt. Behind her is a stone wall, a flowing river, and trees with early autumn foliage. Two small blue andwhite utility markers are set into the grass near her feet. The atmosphere is calm and slightly overcast.

- Life is a tile puzzle. You're often going to need to move some around a bunch of stuff that seems completely unrelated to your theoretical goal. At least at first it will seem completely unrelated.
- Avoid using your hand as a tool. Almost always prefer to use your hand to *manipulate* an appropriate tool. You're going to need your hand for other things.
- Nearly everything that happens in the world doesn't involve you. How often do you think about this?
- Your photos will get more interesting once you've learned to lie prone on the ground for a surprisingly long time.
- Sometimes we make things to teach, but often we make things to learn.
- When you’re trying to help someone, focus on the help that the person needs rather than the help you feel like giving them.
- At least twice a day, focus on doing something very skillfully.
- It's not laws that protect you; it's people observing laws that protects you.
